• Permit required
• No more than two (2) layers of shingles permitted without architect approval
• Minimum 3/8" plywood or particle board on 16-inch span
• Underlayment: No. 15-lb. felt
• Roof Shingles: 235-lbs. per square
• Contact the Fire Department for additional requirements for flat roofs and other special requirements
