Note:  No detached accessory building or structure located in a required rear yard shall exceed the
height of the principal building or structure.  However, in no case shall such accessory building or
structure exceed seventeen (17) feet in height.

Fill
Under the floor, there will be four (4) inches of sand or crushed stone.

Foundation
The four outer edges will be a minimum of ten (10) inches deep, four (4) inches below existing grade
and six (6) inches above grade.  The trench will be twenty (20) inches wide at the bottom.

Floor
The floor will be concrete, five (5) inches thick.  The floor and foundation will be will be poured
monolithic.  6 X 6, #10 wire mesh--protected concrete to be five (5) bag mix; exposed concrete,
six (6) bag mix.

Anchors
There will be 1/2 X 8 inch machine bolts placed in the concrete at intervals of eight (8) feet., and
not more than twelve (12) inches from each other..

Sills
There will be single 2 X _____'s laid full-length around the slab.

Wall Studs

Bracing in  Single Wall
The walls will be sway-braced at the four corners.  Braces to be mortised into the top and bottom
plates and not less than two (2) studs.

Jambs & Headers
There will be double jambs and headers at all openings.  There will be a double 2X header over the
auto door with a steel plate.

Electric
There will be ceiling lights, outside lights, convenience outlets.  The wiring from the house to the
garage will be in conduit trench all wiring in the garage will be in conduit, #12 wire.  The garage
will not be tied into the house circuit that is now in use.  All electricity going into the garage will
be fused separately.

The applicant hereby agrees that the proposed structure will be built in accordance with the building
code of the Village of Hazel Crest.
