- Copy of Plat of Survey required, with proposed deck location drawn in
- Support posts to bear on concrete, minimum of 42-inches below grade
- All decks more than 30-inches above grade require guardrails
- Deck construction to conform to Figure No. 1 on attached sheet
- All stair riser heights to be of same height
- Minimum tread width, 9-inches
- Maximum riser height, 8-1/4-inches
- Handrail required on stairways having three (3) or more risers
- Handrail construction on stairways with a total rise of more than 30-inches above grade
to conform to Figure No. 2 on attached sheet
